What is this?

This inaugural blog post is here to help explain who we are & what the blog is all about. I'll be posting about the various projects we're working on with notes, commentary, pictures & if my little sister doesn't mind possibly video. I noticed people are always interested in the story behind each of our projects so to be a perfect avenue for sharing our work.

Additionally, the rest of the crew will be posting blogs from time to time also. Heather is my Stepmom & she runs the business side of stuff plus she makes everything look really pretty. If life was football then you would say shes our Head Coach always looking at the bigger picture.

Roy Sr. is my Pops & the Master Carpenter. He's the whole reason we even can exist (quite literally in my case). He knows everything there is to know about carpentry so when we get an order for something totally different he whips up the design/game plan. You can think of him as our quarterback.

Last but not least is me! My name is Roy also but my middle name is Justin now somehow between that & the series Good Times they came up with the nickname JJ for me. So to keep things in order I'll just go by that on here. Since I'm not a carpenter & really have never done manual labor in my life previous to this my experience is limited, but growing! For now I do alot of the grunt work since that's what you gotta do when you're starting out. If we were to continue using the football analogy I would be most like the water boy lol.

We are super blessed to have an awesome family business here in San Antonio that we are enthusiastically building everyday.
